2010–2014 | Building a Foundation in Technology

I worked within fast-growing technology startups alongside founders, product managers, and engineering teams. It was a foundational education in software development, user experience, Agile delivery, DevOps, cybersecurity, and the dynamics of building successful technology companies. More importantly, it gave me a deep appreciation for the people behind great products and the teams required to bring them to market.

2014–2021 | Creating an Executive Technology Search Practice

I founded and led the IT Search practice within a boutique executive search firm in Cleveland. Partnering with technology leaders within companies ranging from venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 organizations, I helped them identify and hire exceptional technical talent.

Over seven years, I spent thousands of hours speaking with software engineers, infrastructure leaders, cybersecurity professionals, data experts, product managers, and technology executives about their work, the challenges they were solving, and their career goals. Those conversations allowed me to build a trusted network of thousands of technology professionals while developing a deep understanding of the skills, leadership qualities, and market trends that drive successful hiring.

2021–2026 | Global Technology Consulting

I joined a global digital transformation consulting firm to broaden my perspective beyond recruiting. Working alongside consultants and enterprise clients, I helped organizations assemble expert teams and deliver complex technology initiatives across multiple industries.

This experience gave me firsthand insight into how enterprise technology decisions are made, how engagements are structured, and how successful organizations align technology with business strategy. The professionals I had previously recruited became colleagues, mentors, and collaborators, further strengthening my understanding of the challenges technology leaders face.

2026–Present | Gerson Search Group

In 2026, I was ready to return to something I feel truly passionate about knowing that I am better equipped than ever to serve both candidates and clients. 

Today, I partner with technology leaders to solve difficult hiring challenges through a relationship-driven, consultative approach. My goal is simple: connect exceptional people with organizations where they can create lasting impact while helping clients build high-performing teams that drive long-term success.

Sixteen years in the technology sector, first inside startups, then leading executive search, followed by global consulting, has given me a unique perspective that few recruiters possess. I understand technology from the inside, speak the language of engineers and executives alike, and bring that experience to every search I conduct.
